What Adarael said about Fire Emblem. I agree with all of it. One other important bit, too. Actually, two. First off, be careful in letting the upgraded troops (like Sothe) take all the kills. It's a total waste of xp. It's not much of a problem in this game as compared to the previous Fire Emblem, but Sothe and Tauroneo can both leech xp. Second, and related, is Zihark. Technically, Zihark is an xp sink at th e beginning of the game, as well. This doesn't matter. He's fucking awesome.
Once you get the internet set up on your machine, make sure to send me your Wii friend number. There will then be sharing of pics and Miis and such.

Okay, so here's what you need to remember:
1) Biorhythm matters. It's not the most important thing, but it can make a decent difference.
2) Laguz are fun, but fundamentally not as godawful burly as they first appear.
3) Brom and Nephenee kill *everything*. They are my main meatgrinder wall.
4) It's always worth it to take your time and play carefully.
5) "Danved is pretty amazing."

We have regular Wii bowling tourneys to decide who does unpopular household chores. Bowl a 120 and the diaper pail is all yours!

Oh, and we haven't hooked ours up to the 'net yet, as we'll have to reconfigure our tangle of network cables to do so. I'm all for swapping Miis / IDs / whatever witchery Nintendo has set up, though. :)

I see many, many hours being lost to Fire Emblem. ;) I'm also a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information available (biorhythms?!) and the delicious nitpickiness of the combat options.

I'm already had to retry a couple missions because of poor tactics, so I can see where reviewers could've groused about a steep learning curve. I'm enjoying it, though. It's nice when a game doesn't hold your hand too much. (Remind me that I said this when I end up stumped on some future mission. ;) )

As for Okami vs. Excite Truck, I think it depends entirely on how deep one's love of racing is. *grin*

Damn right, you got yourself some Fire Emblem action.
Excite Truck is fun, but I think Okami is probably more fun.

Okami is sweet sweet lurve, though I got it for the PS2 backwhen. Haven't had a chance to try Fire emblem. There's a Wii Friends thingie that I can send you once I have a chance to extract the required 16-digit number.
